unusual 10 bolt GM diffy off '75 SW...

I need help here folks.A friend down here needs new gears and shafts for his '74 Camaro. It is a 10 bolt,3.07,open. Since these are rare here,I took me a while and I finally located a chassis that belonged to a '75 Chevelle SW.After struggling in the bushes for a while I realized it had huge drums and 1/2'' studs, not 7/16".Also,it seemed absurdly heavy to move. But it does have a 10 bolt cover. Then, after I got to the shop, the track measuremant was wider too! Is it some type of special 10 bolt differential? Comments please.

I think some of those chevelle wagons had a 5 on 5 bolt pattern
the 1/2 stud is the standard for a 5 on 5" dia

or--could be the rear of an Impala or equivalant

You are right Bryan.5 on 5! And it is an unusual diffy.Eventhough it has a 10 bolt cover,it is bigger all around.Even the shafts have a larger diameter.I wonder if there are aftermarket parts for it...
