CMA show is actually SEMA. Held in LV (Speciality Equipment Manufacturers Assn.)
Too much sizzle and not enough meat in shows so far.

Thanks chevy38. Sounds like you have been, maybe a few times. Open to the public? And what cost? Thanks again.

No, I haven't been but would like to. Maybe when I retire. It is for the trade and I still work behind a desk ( 4 more years).

I was referring to the 'Rides' show.

I have been working on a 38 Chev Coupe for almost 5 years and would like them to show me how everyone (professional) does it. I already know how to do it the hard way.

They need a show (not two guys garage) to go slowly thru a rebuild/restore without having to throw wads of money at everything.

right

Dont think they will ever take enough time for me to learn. But I get out in a year and plan to start a new trade. Auto repair. Retirement from computers, so I wont have to work very hard. The show sounds like a good place to get ideas.

let the jap crap in!!

I for one am ready to open the cruise-in's to allow the jap crap show their stuff too. I got a look at the wet t-shirt contest on the NOPI site. www.nopinationals.com I think we need to be , you know, more flexable about associating with the jap and euro custom's and enjoy their additions to the sport. They still can't be called Hot Rods though!~!
