Updating 55 Olds Ft End

Searched many forums lately looking for information on how to proceed with our 55 Olds project without much luck. After deciding to go with big block Chevy & 400 tranny and dealing with the lack of conversion kits other issues about the front end are being discussed. Not only are there no (known to us) engine conversion kits on the market (w/o req'g modification) there are no known disc brake conversion nor MII setups for a 55 Olds.

Threfore, we are wondering if there is anyone ALIVE TODAY who has experience updating a 1955 Olds (or near yr/model) engines/trannies and other front end components, e.g., drums to disc brakes, eliminating kingpins, newer mstr cylinders, etc. using components from newer model cars.
