updating brakes

A couple of questions for the knowledge base! why are all the aftermarket brake boosters mount with such an extreme angle? As the booster kit that came with this project puts the master cylinder at such an angle it can't possibly be correct. I've tried looking up factory apps. that should work and yet the angle on those appears to be similar.....project "66" elky, drum/drum......thanks

I'll assume you have a bracket that allows the booster to be mounted to a part of the frame that is at an angle to the rails?
What is your application. Firewall, under floor? Pi :welcome: cs help.

At least part of the MC angle is due to the nose dive/weight transfer that happens under hard braking.

Bob the app is a 66 el-camino so it is a firewall mount never considered that reason however the angle is very extreme [not to good at degree %] but firewall area is perpendicular where it needs to mount will try to send picThe kit appears to be street bandit
