upper threading for a Singer 111w157
Can anyone take a picture of the thread routing through the thread controller on a 111 series Singer sewing machine? The manual I have is a poor reproduction and for the life of me I can't get the thread through this maze correctly. I think I am following the directions right but as I start to sew the thread jumps out of the wire controller spring and slips between the back of the thread controller and the mounting plate and presto the thread breaks. I have loosened the spring rotated it clockwise and counter clockwise to no avail. the thread always jumps out of the wire controller spring. I am beginning to think that sewing is not part of my Karma.

Here you go, you have the same upper tension that I have on my Consew 226:
