urethane bushings in rear leafs - a good idea?
My 1970 Nova has multi-leaf springs but the rubber in the spring bushings is cracking. I'd like to replace them and I was thinking of using urethane bushings.
Is there a noticeable ride difference from urethane bushings? Is the handling difference significantly different than new rubber bushings?

Urethane is much better, car will handle better. Only problem with urethane is sometimes it gets squeaky if not lubed well. I didn't notice any difference in ride, just cornering responsiveness.
