Urgent help needed with BC Pearl

I just sprayed PPG Omni MBC. It just isn't drying out flat. There is some orange peel. I have sprayed on 4 coats, the last one wet. I just realized I had too much pressure on the HVLP gun. No use getting mad now but I'm guessing I have to sand the BC smooth with 600 before spraying on the pearl.
I misread the data sheet.

a little texture will be inevitable... if you want to be cautious about it, wet sand with 1000 grit and a water spray bottle... I just use the paper trifolded and my hand... move to your pearl... 3 nice coats with good overlap ( i like to overlap more and move a little faster/smoother, rather than 50% and having less room for error)... if you 600 grit you will want to lay down some DBC500 or the like to take care of sand scratches... you will like 1000g... on any non-production paint job I do, after spraying color to coverage, I let sit over night, nib with 1000g, two more coats of color, then clear... lays down awesome compared to not 1000g sanding... good luck

I think my problem was a cheap gun. I tried sanding the peel with 600 but it was too deep. I ended up using 220 and will have to spray the base again. This time I will test the gun on something first.

Using a different gun with better results. Still have a few bad spots after two coats. Going to let it set up overnight then sand the bad spots with 600/1000 and add one or two more coats then pearl
