US President to support Terrorism in his fight against Terrorism, Irony at it’s best.
So, I was under the understanding that the passing of US founds to a known and listed terrorist organization was illegal. Well then what’s up with Hamas, wouldn’t this be Treason for a government official to found a self declared enemy of the US.
Well I’m thinking some attorney somewhere in the US ot to look into this. Rick. Time "But the statement made no immediate threat to cut existing funding despite the fact that the Palestinian electorate has voted into power a party listed by the U.S. and EU as a terrorist organization. The U.S. currently provides an estimated $234 million annually to the PA budget" |

Good reason to not rely on one source for your information.

Yes, he was indeed elected in free elections. Iran has the most western world like culture, but ironically also has the greatest hatred of it.
We have to be careful in this situation. We know that Hamas has conspired to bring down Israel before. Now I don't really care for Israel (and I've read Leon Uris's Exodus), but we have to oppose any leader that has openly admitted that he would like to wipe a country off the map. Last time a people was threatened like this in history, it was Adolf Hitler and WWII. Hamas is responsible for a large number of suicide bombings that continue to plague the Palistinian region. Here's a quick list: http://www.mfa.gov.il/MFA/Terrorism-...2-Mar-2004.htm Quote:
And as if that wasn't enough, he is also pushing for the suicide bombings to continue in Iraq against us I say if he threatens to throw nukes around we take the county over. Also, the funding to the Palestinian Authority was in the Oslo Accord initiated by a liberal congress under President Clinton . However, in 2003 Bush did authorize $20 million in cash to be given to the Palestinian Authority, where it was just HUNDREDS of millions of worker aid before. I wish people would put petty political differences aside and stop blaming Bush for everything that happened before he was even in office. Edit: fixed broken link & grammatical error |

I think you guys may have misunderstood me I wasn’t trying to bash the bush, I was merely laughing my *** off over the irony of it all. Whether you’re a republicker or democrackhead
really makes no difference to me. furthermore talk is cheap and only time will tell, but I’ll be willing to bet ALL founding will NOT be cut for one pathetic reason or another, and we’ll be spending hard earned US $ to help kill the Israelis real soon. Just imagine how many suicide bombers they could now buy with 900 million in foreign aid. Rick. |

The wrong party seems to be in charge in Venezuela too. Are elections only considered free and democratic if they elect someone you like. |

Theirs good reasons why felons are not allowed to vote in this country.
Why then do we think leting murderous warmongers vote their government into power would somehow change things for the better in a country where a KING WITH AN IRON FIST IS NEEDED just to keep um from daily killing each other.. I mean really how long do you think a legislator would last in San Quentin? Why do you thing Abbas can’t disarm the militants? Rick Last edited by wizzonial; 01-31-2006 at 03:59 PM. |

A couple of things jump out at me here:
1) "The U.S. currently provides an estimated $234 million annually to the PA budget" Again, another contribution by the U.S. to a people who don't appreciate it and probably don't deserve it. My dad spoke with a Palestinian teacher who was part of a teacher exchange. The conversation took place in the earlyn 1950's. She stated that the Palestinians were dedicated to the destruction of Israel and that the Palestinian children were taught that starting at a very early age. We have seen decades of this mindset manifesting itself in the Middle East and I don't see it abating soon. 2) "Now I don't really care for Israel (and I've read Leon Uris's Exodus),..... I don't really know what that is supposed to mean. Could you elaborate, 78? tom |

http://www.economist.com/displayStor...tory_ID=513031 From the above article: "And apart from Australia, people who live in England and Wales are at greater risk of being assaulted, robbed, sexually attacked and having their homes burgled than are people in any other rich country." Maybe it's 'cause criminal there have no fear of a populace that has been disarmed by their government. I'm not minimizing the impact of gun crimes or accidents (which are caused by criminal neglect), just putting things in perspective. It seems one is safer in a "gun crazy USA" than in merry old Enland (or even Scotland). tom |

Pardon the language, but this is one big clusterf*ked situation woth no real answers. We shouldn't have setup shadow governments in the '40's over there. But really this falls back on Hitler and their secrect ops which allowed them to infiltrate the US government itself and eneded up killing Kennedy and launching our space program into high gear. If you think these are conspiracy theories they aren't. Research our space program and see who the main players were, what country they came from and how they influenced America. A name you may know is Von Braun http://liftoff.msfc.nasa.gov/academy.../vonBraun.html http://liftoff.msfc.nasa.gov/academy...n/Germany.html There were many more Nazi scientists that came here, many were skilled in the arts of proaganda and black warfare. all they had to do was plant seeds, just as they did in the Arabic countries. This thread: http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?t=37334 at an astronomy forum discusses the inanity of such claims. The posters pretty much show how stupid such claims are. tom |
