So, I was under the understanding that the passing of US founds to a known and listed terrorist organization was illegal. Well then what’s up with Hamas, wouldn’t this be Treason for a government official to found a self declared enemy of the US.

Yes, he was indeed elected in free elections. Iran has the most western world like culture, but ironically also has the greatest hatred of it.

We have to be careful in this situation. We know that Hamas has conspired to bring down Israel before. Now I don't really care for Israel (and I've read Leon Uris's Exodus), but we have to oppose any leader that has openly admitted that he would like to wipe a country off the map. Last time a people was threatened like this in history, it was Adolf Hitler and WWII.

And as if that wasn't enough, he is also pushing for the suicide bombings to continue in Iraq against us

I say if he threatens to throw nukes around we take the county over.

Also, the funding to the Palestinian Authority was in the Oslo Accord initiated by a liberal congress under President Clinton . However, in 2003 Bush did authorize $20 million in cash to be given to the Palestinian Authority, where it was just HUNDREDS of millions of worker aid before.

I wish people would put petty political differences aside and stop blaming Bush for everything that happened before he was even in office.

I think you guys may have misunderstood me I wasn’t trying to bash the bush, I was merely laughing my *** off over the irony of it all. Whether you’re a republicker or democrackhead really makes no difference to me.

furthermore talk is cheap and only time will tell, but I’ll be willing to bet ALL founding will NOT be cut for one pathetic reason or another, and we’ll be spending hard earned US $ to help kill the Israelis real soon.

Just imagine how many suicide bombers they could now buy with 900 million in foreign aid.

Again, another contribution by the U.S. to a people who don't appreciate it and probably don't deserve it. My dad spoke with a Palestinian teacher who was part of a teacher exchange. The conversation took place in the earlyn 1950's. She stated that the Palestinians were dedicated to the destruction of Israel and that the Palestinian children were taught that starting at a very early age. We have seen decades of this mindset manifesting itself in the Middle East and I don't see it abating soon.

I may surprise you to note that Australia, England and Wales, and Scotland (among others)all have higher rates of crime than the U.S.

Maybe it's 'cause criminal there have no fear of a populace that has been disarmed by their government.

I'm not minimizing the impact of gun crimes or accidents (which are caused by criminal neglect), just putting things in perspective. It seems one is safer in a "gun crazy USA" than in merry old Enland (or even Scotland).
