For your question on the other thread about using the crossmember , just move it back and drill some new holes in the frame.

I made a new one from 2''x1'' heavy walled tube because I didn't like the huge stock crossmember.

The front lip was also covering the pan bolts making servicing a pain in the keester.

I would cut the extra material off the front of the crossmember for easy access to the pan bolts.

You'll want to pick up a 4 pin brake switch to cut off the lockup when the brakes are applied if its not included in the kit.

Vss not working?

Ok its ben a few months but I just got the b m 70248 converter lock up kit , I found out I either needed a electric speedometer ote chang the electric sender to gear driven sender yo work so I just bought a auto meter electric speedometer, well I have it al wired up and the speedometer is not showing any speed it comes on and also the converter never locks up has anyone got any experience with this one?
