Is there a place one can buy a used or rebuilt "Limited Slip GM" differential for a chevy 10 bolt rearend? It is very difficult to find a 12 bolt that fits a 74 Monte Carlo A Body.
I plan on replacing the 10 bolt with a custom made Ford 9 inch in a couple of years. In the mean time, while I save the cash, I would like to upgrade the current rearend. Thanks, Sorry so wordy. |

Go to www.jegs.com They have posi's and lockers and limited slip,. and gear sets and anything that you could want for your rear end. This is new stuff. For used check out junk yards, swap meets, or the classified adds on sites like this

After the ordeal I've gone through with buying swap meet stuff, I'd suggest doing as Henry first said and just buy a brand new posi-unit and gears and stick it in there. MAKE SURE THE UNIT HAS THE SAME SPLINES AS THE EXISTING AXLES! Believe me, do this and you'll be dollars ahead and at peace with yourself.
