Username vs real name!
Figured it would be cool to see how everyone made up their user name. Also share your real name. Maybe we can make the site a little more personal if we can address each other buy our real name instead of a silly username!
Bigdog7373 was just a username me and my friend used for a youtube account a while ago, (its deleted now). "Big dog" is just something we called people sometimes. And 73 is my favorite number, for no real reason. So yea, no real meaning behind the name lol. And my real name is Ryan. |
My logo and username are taken from a cult classic playstation game loosely based on Norse Mythology (Valkyrie Profile) and Valkyrie is the nickname I have for my 96 C2500. "5.7" because my plans for a 350 (which have yet to materialize :smash:) in the truck as it is currently powered by the stock L30 5.0L Vortec mill.
My real name is Cameron. |
Mine came from the comment the wife made 6 years ago when we bought a 2006 Charger Daytona R/T with the 5.7 Hemi in Torred of course. #111 of 200.
She said "Are we nuts". I guess we were being in our mid fifties buying a factory hotrod. Nothin' like 140 mph to get your heart rate up!! LOL!! Real name: Dan |
Wide track 69...Not because I'm wide...I'm working on a project that I can't discuss to much in an open forum (my customer's rules, he wants everything under wraps until he says it's OK, he's paying the tab so I'm good with it) It's a 69 Pontiac and the 60's slogan was "Wide Track".
Real name Ray |
Mines easy.. first intial.. last name.. and the number is the number of my next dirt car.. Wayne Williams 181

I do believe you are right...that slogan was used through out the sixties as well and because the car I'm building is a 69 Pontiac and we needed a "User Name", I just took whatever popped into my head Good call on the first year for wide track though...Didn't they also have another slogan in the 60's with an empty engine bay and a tiger came our of it.... I seem to remember that one as well. There's a new thread,,,"Old Manufacturer's Slogans".
|
um.. :smash:

Poncho 62, Being we're both from Canada, wasn't that ESSO's or Exxon "put a tiger in your tank"? I just remember a Pontiac commercial with a tiger coming out of the engine bay.

I do remember the tiger under the hood now....68 GTO I think |
I thought it was older than 68...I seem to remember a black and white commercial.
