Using an Engine oil cooler for a tranny
Hi,
My tube type oil cooler isn't up to the job, Ive got a Mocal 16row engine oil cooler, any thoughts on its suitability. Th700r4, in 1800 kilo 4x4, NOT plumbed via the radiator. (it has no provision) Eliot.

Go to http://www.summitracing.com and get yourself a B&M Transmission Cooler, they come in various sizes.
As you´re in the UK a thermostat would also help.

I know i should put a B&M cooler on it, but ive got the mocal cooler spare and wanted to use that in the short-term.

It shouldnt be a problem, I plan on doing the same thing with an oil cooler I have.
