UV Powder coats- "Powder coat Bill".

I was reading that they now have UV cured Powder coats?
They dedicated one sentence to the subject, so this is all I know.

I have made both UV cured Primer and Clear and personally think it going back 15 years in quality so its on hold until improved as far as I'm concerned.

Now what little I know about powder coats (nothing), I would think this would be a gold mine.

Cure in a 10th of the normal time, so more production.
Energy savings would be astronomical vs gas ovens.
Less room required.

Now a do it yourselfer could buy a $1500 lamp and be in business at home.

Have you been involved in this?
Is there a downgrade in quality going to this system?
Is the cure time with the lamp 3-5 minutes as in automotive type products or longer?
