Post V-12 Lincoln

Did anyone see the V-12 flathead Lincoln at the Goodguys show at the Alameda County Fairgrounds?

No, but back about '66 the corner used car lot had a '39 Zephyr with this engine which my buds and I dearly wanted but couldn't afford. I think they wanted 300 bucks for it, and it ran.
BTW, there's a site at www.4-lesco.com which has a photo of the Model A/Lincoln 12 which inspired the C&W song "Hot Rod Lincoln".

My pappy said, "Son, you're gonna drive me to drinkin'
If ya don't stop drivin' that hot rod Lincoln!"

One of my weekend toys is a 36 V12 Zephyr. Great styling! fun to drive, but you've got to be a real man to stop it. Those cable brakes are pretty weak.
