V-6 T-5 From S-10 to 350 chevy

Read through a bunch of searches, what I really need to know is,a customer dropped off a T-5 from a later model 4.3 V6 S-10,and wants me to put it in his 55 Chevy pickup with a 77' 350 Chevy with stock truck 4sd. Not concerned with linkage or throw, can handle that,do 350s have different size flywheels,is the old 4sp the same corse spline shaft,is the input saft the same lenth? I know a lot of guys do this swap,I know Fords inside and out but not Chevs...
