I have a 35 chevy Sedan and thinking of putting v6 4.3L with all running gear in it. Not rally sure about computer system - any ideas?

Yep lt1 or ls motor with harness and computer all in one lump from the junk yard. Also get them to put a trans in the deal so you can get a good price. You will be hard pressed to find a complete swap for the 4.3 maybe if your local junk yard can put something together for you but they usally only get them out complete with harness and computer is when its corvette or other motor that is popular for swaps.

Stock frame, suspension and brakes? Best keep it stock even the 4.3 will have enough tq to break stuff if you try. Probably going to need a complete update for the car just doing a motor swap will not turn out well and you will be forced to do the work in reverse. Unless the rest of the car is ready i would skip the motor upgrade until the brakes and other things are sorted.

Now if its built and ready then the v6 still has no advantage. Mpg will be almost the same and power will not be as good.

Have you thought about the four banger i think the older s10s had a nice four banger that you can buy a regular manifold and use a carb. Iron duke i have herd it called. They are still not all that good on gas. But better than the v6 and can be dressed up like an old engine with air filter and old paint colors.

Use all the wiring from the Donor car. Its the least expensive way to go.
Start with a wiring diagram for the donor cars Powertrain.Look the car over for all the connectors and wire routing. Dont cut wires, learn to uncouple and unplug them. You will be glad you did.
Be sure to identify the places that are tied to battery power and Ignition power so you can wire that part accordingly. If I was close I would stop buy to help...I live for that kind of thing. Wirning is fun, like a good game of chess.
