V6 Nova
How would a vortec 4.3 with a 700r4 work in a '70 Nova? Found a Nova with a blown 307. Not a hot rod but I think it could be a neat ride anyway.

I think that would be a helluva swap. I always thought it would be neat to find an old Chevy II wagon and swap in a Mustang II front suspension, 4.3 V-6 and an OD auto or 5 speed. Would make for an economical but fun little cruiser/parts chaser. I say "DO IT". :D

If I use an electronic engine transmission combo what do I do for a speedometer? My son has a wrecked blazer with a 4.3/700r4, Is the engine and trans wiring in a seperate harness or is it part of the chassis harness? Will the AC and power steering bolt up to the newer engine? Would I be better off using the blazer AC compressor and power steering pump,I guess I could have lines made if needed. By the way the 307 is blown up not super charged.
