You're right. I don't have one at the moment, but will be getting one. I did shave it down some with the putty knife.

I did spread it both ways, but just ended going the direction you see. That works well until I got to the top of the arc. Most of the bondo will stay. I started block sanding until it feathered out. It needs a little more in the center.

This is my first time really doing anything like this. So feel free to help me out.
