you can get a good low mi 350tbi with good oil pressure & compression from a salvage yard for $800 or $900 (or less) just get the computer and wiring too (most of your 4.3 wiring will probably be the same & work) also your 4.3 serpentine belt system and accessories will fit the TBI 350. just buy whats needed to swap the V8 into the S10. I want to do a older S10 350 V8 carb swap real bad. but the newer S10 TBI swap would be ok too, really a good idea I never thought of. and I have a extra set of fresh TBI heads and a TBI intake, I just need the computer and wiring witch I do have access too, as I just bought a new 350 TBI crate engine (new out of a crate last dec and installed into a 90 chevy p/u and run till april when tranny went out) I gave $800 for a complete near new 350 engine & TBI setup with the serpentine belt system and accessories p/s a/c alt.

Good Luck
