v8 s10 th-350 to 700r4

I have an S-10 with a hot 350, th-350 with 3200 stall, 3.73 rear end, and I'm running 255/60-16s. The problem is that when I'm rolling at 70 mph, I'm turning 3600 rpm. I have a 91 blazer sitting in my yard with a 700 in it, what kind of difference can I expect with the OD? Would it be worth the trouble?
