Vaccum Lines on SBC

On my 383, I have the brake booster hose to the back of the Demon carb & the hose from the intake to the 350 trans, is this correct? There is no pvc valve.

That would work fine. You can also use the small port on the passenger front corner of the baseplate closest to the firewall for this as well since it has constant vacuum at it.
