Vacuum Actuated Gas Cap....

Looking for an actuator/kit to automatically open and close a gas door. Have seen it used but cannot find a kit for sale or instructions. Looking for either a Vacuum operated or electically operated door kit.

Thanks in advance for the help!

The only thing I could think of, and this is broad, is a spring loaded fuel door locked by a vaccum actuator (like on a distributor) that unlocks it with vacuum. I've never seen anything like it. Vacuum usually pulls things. I Don't recall anything automotive that pushes things. Personally I would go with 60convert.

Thanks..

Yeah, the one I saw was spring or solonoid to open and vacuum to close. There is a weird one made for 80's-94 Mustangs which might work, with a little engineering.

Was just wondering if anyone had seen something outthere. Thanks for the input. I will look at the solonoid solution 60convert recommended.

Thanks!
