vacuum lines!!

so i have a 390 ford f-100 that i am in the process of breaking down and regasketing. my question is i don't know if the vacuum lines are going where they need to. i think they are all swapped around. does anyone know where i can find out where to hook what up to.

also th motor has 2 pvs tubs that have a place for 3 vacuum lines to hook up on each one. and then i have a vacuum line on my dist and also on carbs. if i count right i think i have 9 lines altogether. PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN

also my ac and heater all run by vacuum i was told

There is a sticker with a diagram of vacuum line routing somewhere under the hood. If you don't have one, you can order one from Ford.

but, for the most part, the following pieces get ported vacuum:
EGR
ignition (depending on year... more on that below)
small line to charcoal canister


And full vacuum:
brakes
pcv
cruise control
dash ac/heat
large line to charcoal canister

For the ignition if you don't know which one you have its easy to check. Hooke up a piece of vacuum line to it and take the cap off. Suck on the tube while watching the advance. If you can do it relatively easy with sucking on the tube, it should go to ported. If you suck until your tongue hurts and it only moves a little, it goes to manifold.
