Which vacuum port do I use- Motorcraft 2bbl- pics

I am adapting a Motorcraft 2bbl 1.08 venturi
to a 76' land cruiser with the inline six 4 liter
engine.
I mocked up the carb wth adapter on a spare intake and not sure which port to pull vac for my vacuum advance distributor.
The ( A) port looks to be above the throttle plate- not sure what it originally attached to.
and (B) looks to be at throttle plate level.
(B) was the choke pull off which I am not going to use. I am using a manual choke.
(C) would be full vac off the manifold so that probably wont work.
How about 5 in the next pic- is spark port
ported vacuum?

an opinions on ported vacuum for this ?

If it were me, I'd install the carb and fire up the engine to find out what vacuum port did what. Foolproof that way.

Most of the time engines like manifold vacuum over ported on spark advance. But there are some factors. SBC`s like manifold vacuum to vacuum advance. However, why is because Idle and part throttle mixtures are lean. Lean mixtures burn slower than do rich mixtures. Since it`s lean and burns slower, power benefits from the early spark advance. However, if your intake is based on a single plane design, it may run richer, or the tune may perfer it richer. I would experiment with both manifold and ported vacuum then use whichever one gave it the better power.
