value of BBC "dot" rods?

gotta get some cash to buy some cal custom V/C's from a fellow poster here, and a ste of roller rockers! so here is what I have...: ---12--- "reconed" BBC rods, that have the -dot- on them, new pioneer 7/16 rod bolts, floaters on the small end, and the small end honed to fit the 8 new pins that are included. These are also weight matched within 2 grams of each other. I work in the rod dept. and did these for myself, so I did an absolutely perfect job on them, but never used them, the extra 4 are in case of a failure on the track and I would already have some replacements. What does anyone think I could sell these on E-bay for?? I was told around $200.00 for ALL 12 and the pins???? sound fair? thanks...Ken, P/S, If anyone thinks this kind of question is out of line here, tell me and I will delete it promptly!!!

Fat motor rods

I just watched a nice set of rods (8) reconditioned with new ARP bolts go for $256 on E-Bay. It is almost impossible to obtain BIG rods, recondition them, put a good set of bolts in them. bush the small end and fit for the pin, when the overseas market is selling them as "bolt in" for damn near giveaway prices! I have 3 sets of 7/16s rods that aren't worth messing with for the price of aftermarkets!! To answer your question, I think you are well in line with your price.
