I just ordered a set of procomp 210 cc heads with 2.050 int. & 1.60 ex. for my 393 stroker. I will be checking piston to valve clearance .
Has anyone running these valves had any problems out of the ordinary =ie valves hitting the block etc.?

Biggest fitment issues with them are port alignment (raised port)and valve cover sealing (rails are narrow). Some have push rod rubbing problems but the 1.72 rockers should take care of that.

A 1262R Felpro intake gasket will help with port alignment. They are thicker than the 1262. Stay away from the rubber/steel core valve cover gaskets on those heads, they will leak like crazy. The cheapie cork gaskets can be formed and glued down to fit the shape of the rails.

Probably not. I have spent over 2 grand on the new house I'm building in the last 2 days. Not much money left for hobbies. My butt needs to be working on it every spare minute if I'm going to move in by fall.
