hi folks looking for adapter that will allow me to bolt on FORD valvecovers , to a small block CHEV .. years ago , somebody offered a cast adapter , but i havn't seen the add for years .. also MR GASKET , at one time offered a FORD valvecover , with a chevy pattern ., but are obsolete ..anybody have a pair ??. i have a fabricated steel adapter set , but i just can't get it to seal {transplant rejection??} .. thanks for the help .. jim prowse .. <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I had a set. Sold them on the 56 F100 BigWindow I had them on. I bought mine from Frantic Freds...... a street rod supplier in California. I am under the impression he was the one who made the ones he sold.

thank you duece roadster , i called frantic freds { they don't have a web site } , and they have them in stock , @ 119.00 a set ... sure appreciate the lead .. i have had the ford covers on for several years , using a fab'd adapter , but always have trouble with leaks .. you'd be supprised how many people it fools , and guys that should know better .. thanks again jim prowse .[34 FORD CABRIOLET} ..

I have a new set that I bought on eBay as a joke. I paid about $35 for them. Do a search on eBay for Chevy valve covers. They are cast aluminum with the Ford logo and are direct bolt ons for Chevy heads with the staggered bolt pattern.
