Valve Cover Conversion

Anyone used one of this converters/adapters for using the old style SBC perimeter valve covers on the newer center-bolt valve cover heads?

I checked out Summit and their set says you have to use "narrow" rocker arms..? I was going to use them on a set of Vortec heads, but their self-aligning rockers are anything but narrow.

I'd like to hear about their sealing and if they look goofy. There's no sense in using them if they stand out a mile and look phoney.

I have a set of the GM Performance Parts adapters on my Fastburn, they work great and do not leak. I can't speak for Summit, but I can guess where they are made.

Vince,

Are you using self-aligning or standard rockers?

My Fastburn heads came with BOTH patterns ... the older 4 bolt around the gasket type and the 4 center bolt type ...
