I would get $10.00 per guide labor.. Press out/OD ream..Install guide and ream for valve fit. Does not include the required valve job..The biggest problem is. Many of the aftermkt heads use odd ball OD. and length guides. This requires me to purchase the correct odd ball reamers and finishing tools.

Your problem then is getting the guides.. Many can only be obtained from the actual manufacturer. Many are not available in the aftermkt. The head sellers don't have them.. My shop vendors don't carry them.

Last set of aftermkt heads that I replaced a few guides in. Due to a valve failure. I had to order +.003" oversize guides then knurl the OD more. to get a decent fit. Then , ream, shorten and reface the top for seal fit. Not a $10.00 job.

Summit/jeg's have the guides, so that wouldn't/shouldn't be a problem. Thanks bob
