Valve lash
 

Hi again
when I set the valve lash on my roller rockers can I set all 16 first(obviously in the correct order)then tighten the poylocks down all in one go after?

dont take the chance of the nuts backing off.adjust,lock,done,recheck if you are not sure.put covers on,go fast

Dave I guess you got that stud issue worked out? I think Pro Comp or Comp cams makes an adjusting tool with the allen handle mounted on top. Makes adjsuting go a bit quicker. Another note, once you are set, shouldnt take much to adjust them each time. Dont foget that extra tweek when you tighten the locknut, keeps em from backing up.

You'll need to get the feel of that extra tweek at the end on solid cams, it will open the gap some. If you're anal, you can set it a little tight, tweek and check clearance. After a while you kind of get the feel for it. I don't recall what cam you're using.

My mate had a spare set in his future build project so I had them,still got to buy some new ones though for him!

Using a flat tappet magnum cam,hydraulic lifters.

Looks like the roller rockers and studs were chinese,no name on box and slightly different to my mates ones, dont think that surprises some of you guys!!
