Build Sheet
1989 Iroc-Z/28
305 (.030 over), Forged 2 valve relief pistons(not sure specs), Comp Cam (also not sure specs), AFR 190 Heads, TPIS Intake, Lingenfelter Throttle Body, Paxton SN-92 Centrifugal Supercharger, Holley Pro Commander 950 Fuel/Spark Mapper, All MSD Ignition (Dist, Coil, MSD, Wires, Boost Timing Retard, etc), (not positive on the Injector Size), NGK 2 step colder plugs, LT1 Headers, 3.5" Exhaust (no cat), Borg Warner 5 spd tranny w/ hurst shifter & 3.73 Rear gear (not sure the clutch specs either). All the work was done by another guy before me and the previous owner before him (he was getting deployed so I bought the project off him but that explains the unknown specs parts) I was getting it tuned to work out the start-up, decelerating and 5th gear throttle response problems. Tuning was about 80% complete (I was getting work done in segments as the $1000 total estimate upfront is alot of loot when u have 4 kids) before the head gasket blew (on the road not the dyno.) When I get it back in order and ready for tuning I'll get you a slip from here in Maryland (as I'm no longer stomping around in Hawaii so I can't just walk into Ron's Performance and ask for a printout from April) Sorry if that sounded like a dick didn't mean it to come off that way. Trust me I wouldn't believe me either if it wasn't for the fact that I've driven the monster. O and it's far from Budget Build as the previous owner claimed to have dropped a total of 15 1/2 grand on the car. Which from the list of parts you can see is fairly accurate (SN-92= $2600, AFR Heads= $1600, Pro Commander 950= $1600, just to name a few let alone all the suspension upgrades.) To be honest the car has caused more headaches then anything though. Start-up is always a 5 minute process, if it hasn't been started in 24 hrs is acts like a baby, and at 8mpg I'm not daily driving her. Besides every part I needed back in Hawaii was special order because they're Honda/Toyota territory. P.S. Any suggestions on some "spark plug change friendlier" headers? It's almost impossible with these damn things.
