valve seal (spring ) inside the port

my friend sent me this, he has '60's MOPARs... so, this appears to be a spring retainer INSIDE the intake port ! Anybody seen this ? This was from the '60 something Chrysler Limo

Looks like parts of a heli-coil type valve guide.

Looks like a valve stem seal. Nothing I've seen before...

That looks like a lift spring used with valve seat cutting tooling.
I have no idea how it would be missed during assembly.
