i have a 80 chevy truck with a 305 in it. i am about to put a holley carb, edelbrock performer intake, headers and a summit racing brand cam in it with z28 valve springs on it i believe they have a .550 lift cam max. My question is a guy up at work told me that if i put on springs that i will have to put on performance rockers and pushrods to. or i will crack a rocker arm or shoot a pushrod though the valve covers. the two cams i would like to go with is
