valve train tick
I thought my rockers were hitting the valve cover, but they are not. I have a constant tick coming from the valve train. What is that?

Do you have hyd. lifters? If so, I would adjust the valves cuz it may be that one or more are coming loose.

I just had 3 cylinders too tight with low compression...now I guess I got one too loose!
Yes they are hydraulic.

I used cheapo lifters in my engine. They would tick a little bit. Exhaust leaks will tick just like a lifter. Try tightening your exhaust bolts. Tighten the collectors too if you have headers.
