Angry vats

i'm not sure if anyone here can help , but anyway i have a 94 z28 and just the other day i brought the car out for a little drive and when i went home and tried to start the car back up i got nothing . so i looked at every option i hope ,but i'm stuck on this vats deal i did some research and found a little info on using resister to trck the computer before i did that the security light was flashing . with the resisters the light stayed on, so any suggestions ? any help would be greatly appreciated cause the car now belongs to my wife i decided to get back into the old all this new stuff kinda bores me . thanks

If it is not making any type of noise or movement at all, try disconnecting the battery, then reconnecting it. If this doesn't work, try jumping the solenoid with a crescent wrench or something. If it turns over, you know it is not the starter. It may be the starter relay or fuse. If does make noise, try jump starting. It may just need a new battery. Good Luck!
