vega sbc engine swap header question ???

i am building a 500 hp street 1976 vega wagon. sbc using this engine mount kit http://www.jegs.com/i/Trans+Dapt/969/4686/10002/-1
my question is what 1 3/4 headers will work in this set up /
not 1 5/8 but 1 3/4 headers . and also will i have to also put on special oil pan http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MOR-20230/ to clear steering draglink with this mount set up kit . any advise would be greatly appreceated.
thanks

Yes, you will need the special pan.

Hooker makes the only 1 3/4" header that I know of. Your header choice will have to be Vega swap specific regardless of the brand, no other header will fit, not even block huggers. Very small amount of room for headers to fit along with the V8.
