vega steering box

Good morning....I am new to Hotrodders bullitin board, but have been a streetrodder (gearhead) for many years. I hope I can make a contribution to this forum and look forward to meeting new friends. I just finished building my 2nd 32 Ford. this one has a vega steering box. it appears to have a lot of play in it. is there an adjustment to tighten it up?

welcome....Best to ask in the steering forum.........Most GM boxes have a screw and lock nut on top for that purpose. It may, however be worn out and need rebuilding.

Welcome to the site, this is a good place.

You can do a search here for the info you might need, or you can post your question in the appropriate forum.

Sometimes when you ask a question folks will do the search for you and come up with an answer...
Like this.. I typed "steering box adjustment' in the search field and this is one of the posts that came up.

Check post 3.
