Hey everyone,
I have a big decision to make and thought I would ask for everyones' opinions or advice. Right now I am working on my 31 chevy roadster pickup project. However, I am thinking about buying a 66 LeMans from a friend. The problem is that I can't have both. If I want the LeMans, I will have to sell the truck project.

The truck project is basically the frame, a rebuilt 50's chevy front end on it and the cowl. I don't have a rear end yet or any more of the body. I do, however, have the 350/350 combo I planned to put in it that I would not sell. The LeMans is in pretty good shape. It needs a new engine in it. If I bought it I would put my 350/350 in it.

What does everyone think I should do? I should be able to sell off all of the parts I have and cover the cost of the LeMans and it could be running and driving in a weekend.

I would say stick with the 31 Chevy Pick-up, but that just my opinion, I'm kind of partial to old truck.

Simple. Close your eyes. Sit in the truck. Sit in the car. Which one do you want more? Open your eyes. Go with that one.

Not every one has a 31 pickup. Rad Man! But then I have an affinity for vehicles 0f the 20's and 30's. As far as 60's vehilces. I like 'em but been there done that. Literally!

I think you should consider which one will give you the most enjoyment in the long run. The Le Mans sounds like a solid car that you could enjoy in a short period of time. The pick up is a much more committed and costly project that could take years to finish. Some questions that you may ask yourself...Does the finished value v.s. money invested matter? When will your truck be road ready? Which ride best suits you overall? Go with your gut feeling.
