Vender for quality autobody tools.

Today I was out at the Goodguys show in Pleasanton California. I looked up Ken at Sunchaser tools to get some answers to questions I had about the "friction system" he sells (a shrinking disc) (click here) . He was very helpful and chatted with me for quite a while answering my every question and then some.

He is a stand up guy and after buying a number of tools from him over the years I can highly recommend him.

He has many Martin (no relation to yours truely) hammers and dollies which are the highest in quality. He has many blocking tools including very long blocks (thirty inches or so), the "Jewelers torch" (as I got from him a number of years ago) which is a "poor mans TIG". Plus, videos and classes.

Just thought I would mention this being we have tossed around "where do I buy body tools?" here in the past.

If you can get out to one of these big shows it really is VERY valuable to chat with the makers of suppliers of the products we use or would like to use in our work of hobbies.

Brian

p.s., I started a thread in the lounge on the subject of how great these big shows are for your rodding education. (click here)

Hey Brian,
Thanks for the post. I like to hear about venders that will spend some time with customers. Being on the east coast we don't get much chance to meet venders from the west coast and visa versa.
www.metalmeet.com is a good site for metal workin' info and venders also. Kerry Pinkerton and Dutch Comstock are on that site and also are very helpfull with info.
Have fun,Smokey
