Hey everyone,
Well I have a little time on my hands and am putting a new exhaust together for my truck. This is the setup
383 Chevy all forged
Pro topline Vortec heads with 2.02 Valves, pocket ported
XE 274H with 1.6 roller rockers, and beehive springs
Air Gap intake
Hooker 1 3/4" fender-well headers
Pro-systems Holley 850 DP
125 shot of Nitrous
The plan is to do a mandrel bent 3" exhaust True Duals with Dynomax straight through mufflers.
I'm pretty well set on this. It will only need one bend and will have a collector length of about 30" + the length of the muffler. I have been reading all I can find of David Vizard and Jon Kaase.
So the question is without dyno tuning what would be more worthwhile making? An anti reversion collector or a tapered collector? Its a street driven truck and would prefer more torque vs 6500 rpm HP.
Thanks, Jordon
