my 1975 chevy truck ( 350 sb) , auto (turbo 350) has a light vibration that comes and goes. I have replaced the hanger bearing, and checked the u-joints which seem to be good ( no free play and they do not feel like they are froze up or stiff) but i can't figure out this vibration. the vibration goes away when i shift it into nuetral. someone please help before i go insane!!!

It could be a few things. The first thing that comes to mind is do the U-joints have a grease fitting ? If not they may be dry. Seen that many times. They still feel tight, but you get a small vibe. Pull the back one off at the rear end since it's the easy one and see if any bind is there. I bet it's dry.
