VIN Help

I have tried to look up all the information that would pertain to my Impala and I cant find anything other than this.

41447K******

4 Year 1964
14 Series Impala SS 8 Cyl.
47 Body Sports Coupe 2-Door
K Assembly Kansas City, MO
****** Serial ******


Is there any other way to find out other information???....

Auto/Manual Trans
Options

The cowl tag will have additional info on options, it will be coded. Also check for the engine info stamped on the pad at the right front where the head meets the block, if it has never been decked the info there will tell you what the engine is, when it was assembled, where it was assembled, and if it is OE to you car. There will also be info stamped on your trans to identify it.

It used to be that you could contact a office at Chevrolet and get what they called a "Restoration Package" for your older car for free... I got one for my 1965 Corvair Monza convertible once... lots of good info. Try this link

I got a copy of the original invoice for my 1994 Impala SS too. Interesting.
