could anyone tell me where the vin number is placed on a 33 tudor sedan?

I don't know on anything that far back, but the mid 50s trucks are stamped on the passenger side frame rail. Usually, between the firewall and the front suspension (on top). Was ford consistent from back then? No clue.

They also have a tag somewhere. I have seen the truck models with them on the firewall, in the glove box, and mine (56 f-100) is on the drivers door. Well...on the post in front of the door (part of the cab). I don't know what its called.

Hope this gives you and idea of where to look at least.
