vin location on 1939 chevy master delux
I'm a first timer,,,, don't know much about these types of sites,,
my question is does anyone know where i can find the v.i.n. # on a 1939 chevy master delux, the frame is original as well as the body, but there is only a paint, body style etc. plate under the hood(s), Please help. Thank You,

Check on the passenger's side floor near the rocker panel. GM put the plates there in the early 40's and it my have been doing that in prior years as well.

'39 Chev vin plate location
Approx 4"x4" aluminum plate or right side of firewall is production line data, not VIN. VIN plate is located on right side of cowl about 8" from door.*********************************
