vin/sn decoding

Just bought 36 chevy 2 door. Title shows FR20102570427. Also shows following :ID #6736471. Last 2 numbers on title are 76149627 and UD014462.These do not seem to compute with vin decoder sites. Anybody have any info? New member to forum. Thanks for helping! Dan

there are a bunch of guys here with 36 ,37, 38 chevys.
Maybe repost your question a little more specific to the year. It might get you more help.
Like : 36 Chev need Vin/Data plate info
A title like that should get you what you need.
Hope this helps. LATECH

There is no VIN# on a car that old...VIN#'s came out in '69 IIRC. Your car has a serial number and a body number. Many states used the engine serial number on titles... the number you listed is probably an assigned # from the state that issued a new title.
