So you are not actually rebuilding the 77, but putting the 77 VIN plate onto the 75. What is wrong with the 75 title?
I'm guessing that if you renumber the 75 as a 77 and you get caught, you are probably going to need the services of a very good lawyer. Especially if you ever sell the car.
