Does anyone know of an upholstery shop in or around the Columbia/Aiken SC area that can do a good quality/professional job of installing a vinyl roof? Or know who not to use?

Whoever you find to do the job for you should know that the vinyl used for landau tops is not the same as vinyl used for seats. Vinyl tops have one or more seams in them that are heat sealed to prevent water from getting under the top. CLICK HERE

I worked at Ford and they did not always meet the paint thickness spec on cars with vinyl tops, and after all these years there is usually some rust underneath an old top. The metal roof needs to have propper prep and paint,

A lot of cars had no paint under a vinyl top, only primer.
