Viper gets owned!

the wheelie bar is to keep the rear from squatting, helping keep weight up front. Looks kinda dumb but that's whay they're there.

It went by so quick that I immediatly thougt it was an 1/8th. I guess thats what happens when you are so used to driving a high 15 sec. car. LOL

i drag at milan all the time. Its a 1/4 strip.

I know the guy in the viper, he's a tool and doesn't know how to drive it, not saying that he could keep up wiht a 9 second ride anyway.

Vipers are notoriously bad drag cars anyway, any time I see one its about a 100,000 dollar 13 second machine.

I've beaten several street cars at the dragstrip that would clean my clock on a road course. The car's impressive for a wrong wheel drive bucket but the win's nothing to write home about.

Not to be an ***, but where in the hell did you get the 160K figure on the Grand Prix?

To those that might not find that run overly impressive, keep in mind that it was only the FOURTH run the car has ever made. There will be improvement in its times.

some of you guys are complaining it's fwd?

so, explain to me, what other choices to GM fans have these days since GM killed the rwd intermediates? Caprice/Impala SS, F-body, Corvette, and that overpriced luxo-sport coupe called GTO? The only affordable ones are beaten up cop-issue Caprices and 80s Camaros.

I dont care if it looks funny with the wheelie bar (keeps weight transfer off the rear wheels at launch actually), it's fwd, or is only a v6. I'll take it.
