Virginia beach New guy

Hey Guys, names Cody, from Virginia Beach Va. Just Joined up cause I'm looking into doing a v8 build, (to be specific, a 383), here shortly, and I'm sure I'll be looking for Info/advice in the near future.

I've mainly been an Import guy, but i've been looking to get away from them,(engine wise atelast), mainly cause the import scene around where I am is full of Super sweet 350hp/210tq Honda's and such, who think they have the fastest **** ever . So damn annoying...haha. While Building motors, both minor and major builds alike, and having to fabricate things is nothing new to me, I've never actually BUILT a v8, worked on many, just never a full build. So Combinations of brand names/products and such will be rather new to me.

Still not sure on what I REALLLY want to drop it into, so any FRIENDLY opinions/ideas would be alright. Though, You'll probably all hate me for what my prefered Choice is, lol.

Thanks for Reading

Thanks!

I plan on putting up a post in the Engine Section in the next week or so, but I'm searching around the site to see if any of my current questions already have answers. Though, from what I'm seeing, not to many of the Threads on here about 383's aren't anything like what I want and plan on doing. So I'm just making a 'possible' parts number list of everything first, pre-writing my goals with/for the motor, both present and future, and writing down questions that I plan on asking, based off some of the research i've been doing.

Mainly just so that my Post is Direct and Straight to the point and easy to read.
