Vistaprint Sucks!

I will not be ordering through Vistaprint again! The quality is not what I expected. I would look elsewhere if you need business cards.

I have had good luck with them over the years what is it that you seem to dislike about them? It is only a card you hand out and most get tossed.

Yikes. I don't like hearing that. I just ordered a batch of cards from them. I guess I'll see in a couple days if that was a huge mistake.

I ordered from them a couple of months ago and I must say they came out fine. I got the free basic ones, plus shipping.

Read my blog post!

You have 1.3 seconds to make a good impression. Why would you want to have a flimsy business card?

Vistaprint Refund!

I contacted Vistaprint and expressed I was not happy with the way the cards came out. They issued me a refund.

If you order from them and are unhappy I would keep this in mind.

I'm impressed. And kudos to you for following up with them and letting your feelings be known.

I'm still awaiting delivery of my cards...but should come shortly. I checked the "budget delivery" box rather than the more expensive speedy delivery...so I'm getting what I paid for I guess. SLOW.

The budget delivery is 21 days? Whatever it is I recall it is ridiculous! How much did you pay for your cards Cboy?

I would look into those other websites and design services. Sign-up for the emails and you will be sent special deals when they are having sales or promotions.

The basic order is $7.74 for 500 cards. BUT there is a flat $3.74 charge if you upload your own photo, image or design, which I did. And then there was a shipping charge of $6.15...which was the cheapest of the shipping alternatives. So it ended up $17.63 for the 500 cards.

If others are searching around on the web to compare prices, you can use this for comparative purposes.

You paid $40 for 500 business cards with a photo on their cheap stock. What type of quality did you expect. The Vista Print low end cards are just that and that is what you have. Good quality cards with a photo on coated paper will cost probably $70+ for 500 cards. My family has been in the printing businesses for over 100 years. They get a lot of customers back after they try the online services, the quality is just not there.

I paid $17.73 for 500. They were delivered today and I'm very happy with them. The card stock might me a bit on the light side but the printing was fine. However, mine aren't to establish my business or represent my company. They are just an easy way to hand people something with the URL for the new book here on Hotrodders.Com rather than having to write that out everytime someone wants it. So I suppose it boils down to a persons intended us as to how high a quality one wants to pay for.

Well T-Bucket... I expected a little more for $44.17 for 500 cards. I checked around and when some of these websites run specials where you can get some amazing deals. I was talking with a musician today who got 1000 full color cards on good stock for $13 through SmartLevels.

To get exactly what you want, you should work through a local printer. Next time I might go to this place called Indigo Ink right outside Bmore. They do really high quality printing and work.
